Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- ⅛ cup spaghetti noodles, broken into ¼-inch pieces
- 1½ tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add rice and broken noodles, stirring frequently until lightly golden.
- Dissolve chicken bouillon in water and pour into the pan.
- Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low, cover, and simmer for 40 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add diced onions or a bay leaf while simmering.
