Ingredients

  • 250 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 cups cooked brown rice
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Green onions, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, and garlic. Marinate shrimp for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and slightly caramelized. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add broccoli to the same pan with a splash of water. Cover and steam for 3 minutes until bright and tender-crisp.
  4. Return shrimp to the pan, toss with remaining sauce, and cook for another minute until everything is coated.
  5. Serve over brown rice. Top with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

  • Add chili flakes for heat.
  • Works great with cauliflower rice or stir-fried veggies.
  • Meal-prep friendly — keeps 2–3 days in the fridge.
