Ingredients
- 250 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- 2 cups cooked brown rice
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Green onions, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, and garlic. Marinate shrimp for about 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and slightly caramelized. Remove and set aside.
- Add broccoli to the same pan with a splash of water. Cover and steam for 3 minutes until bright and tender-crisp.
- Return shrimp to the pan, toss with remaining sauce, and cook for another minute until everything is coated.
- Serve over brown rice. Top with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Notes
- Add chili flakes for heat.
- Works great with cauliflower rice or stir-fried veggies.
